Additional description from the Korea Department Store website: - Cleanser creates a lush foam, gently cleanses the skin and pores of excess sebum, prevents acne and comedones, maintains hydro-lipid barrier. - It gives the skin smoothness, improves the tone, retains the freshness of the skin - Milk proteins renew the epidermis and stimulate the growth of new cells, anti-inflammatory effect, lighten the skin, exfoliate dead skin cells, strengthen and moisturize dehydrated skin, eliminate the wrinkles, helping to increase the synthesis of collagen. - Yogurt extract nourishes and contributes to better regeneration of skin cells, retains moisture and gives the skin a healthy appearance. - Prevents the formation of acne and inflammatory (lesions?). WOW. Those were such bold claims posted on the Korea Department Store website! Product Origin: Korea Where I bought it: www.kkochipida.com History: I've been using it twice daily for about 2 weeks (13 days to be exact) now.

Review: The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Wipes

The product: The Face Shop's Herb Day Cleansing Wipes Price: 325pesos for 70 sheets Rating: 8/10 Where I bought it: The Face Shop, Robinsons Galleria (+): 

• Functions as a good remover of light to moderate coverage makeup
• Cleanses without leaving my skin dry; it also doesn't make my skin feel sticky
• The sheet is big enough to use on my entire face.
• Each sheet is soaked just right--wet enough to easily wipe my face without dripping.
• Did not cause any allergic reactions
• Has a pleasant, non-irritating scent
• The cap/lid is functional. There is also a sticker underneath the lid which further prevents the sheets from drying up.

(-):

• The sheets can be a bit rough especially when they're not as wet as they originally were due to several wipes done on the face. Because of this, excessive wiping/rubbing can scratch the skin. But then again you have to be gentle in wiping your skin, you're not supposed to rub it, so this shouldn't be a problem :)
• This cannot remove mascara thoroughly. For non-waterproof mascaras, you need to do a few more gentle wipes on your eyes to cleanse them adequately. For waterproof mascaras, you're better off using an eye makeup remover.

Review: Dove Beauty Moisture Creamy Lather Facial Wash

The product: Dove Beauty Moisture Creamy Lather Facial Wash Price: 395pesos Rating: 9/10 Where I bought it: Watsons, SM Supercenter Pasig (+):

• Lathers well
• Rinses off easily
• Cleanses skin thoroughly
• Not very drying on the skin
• Has a light, pleasant floral scent which doesn't trigger my allergic rhinitis
• Does not cause redness or itchiness
• Does not cause me to break out (may even actually be helping keep my skin clear)
• A small amount goes a long way!
• The pump works well. It is easy to press/push and the amount of product expressed from the pump is controllable. There is also a lock included which prevents accidental presses.

(-):

• Rather expensive for a drugstore brand facial wash
• Limited availability--I've only seen this in Watsons. It's not available in the supermarkets I've been to whereas other Dove facial washes are displayed there.
• It comes in a big bottle so it may not be travel-friendly as it will take a bigger space than other facial washes.

REVIEW: IN2IT Make up Remover

Price: 199.75pesos Rating: 9/10 Where I bought it: SM Megamall Department Store (+): removes light to moderate makeup effortlessly, doesn't leave any oily residue, leaves skin soft and smooth, smells nice, easy to use, no allergic reactions, non-acnegenic (didn't cause pimples to form on my face) (-): a low-viscosity product so you can't apply it directly on your face--you must first apply it on a cotton pad/ball (as is written on the directions) but even in doing that the fluid doesn't get absorbed easily so it tends to drip; can't remove heavy makeup totally in just one wipe, for heavy makeup it would be good to wipe your whole face twice

I bought a new bottle of this make up remover last week because my first bottle is almost empty. I like using this make up remover because it doesn't leave my skin feeling oily but still my skin feels moisturized after wiping it with this. This makes it easy to wash my face afterwards. Make up removers that leave the face feeling oily make it difficult for me to wash it off--I end up washing my face twice just to remove the oily residue.

This is my make up remover for everyday use. If I use heavy make up then I turn to Pond's cold cream for deep cleansing. I use a different eye and mascara make up remover although IN2IT has an eye make up remover too. I have yet to try that one. :)
I highly recommend this product for quick, gentle and effective make up removal. :)
