Review: Leaders Insolution AC-Dressing Skin Clinic Mask

Identifying Information Product name: Leaders Insolution AC-Dressing Skin Clinic Mask Price: PhP 148.00 (Got this during their Buy 1 Get 1 promo! :D) Description: "Mask relieves and soothes irritated and sensitive acne skin caused by excessive sebum and skin troubles." Product Origin: Korea Where I bought it: www.beautymnl.com History: I got to know about the brand Leaders Insolution through the BeautyMNL website. I didn't know anything about the brand before that. Their sheet masks were being sold at a higher price than most sheet masks available locally so I got curious and googled about them. I saw tons of good reviews on their sheet masks so I put them on my wishlist. Upon waking up one fine day back in August, I received the usual daily e-mail from BeautyMNL and there they said that the Leaders Insolution masks were at a Buy 1 Get 1 promo! Ah, it was the perfect time to buy them so I did! :D

Physical Examination:

Fits perfectly! Looks like second skin :)

Looking sleepy because this was taken past 3AM. LOL. My skin looks so bright though! Totally surprised me when I looked at a mirror!

Salient Features Positives:

• This contains A LOT of essence. I put some of the excess essence on my face then top it off with the sheet mask. I'd still have enough essence left for my neck, elbows and hands!
• It brightens the skin! My face looks red (even without pimples) compared to my neck and the rest of my body. Upon removal of the sheet mask, my face looked brighter, smoother, even toned and comparable to my neck! IMPRESSIVE. 
• Helped my stubborn pimples come to a head
• Soothes and calms the skin
• Pimples and acne medications cause the skin to be red and feel irritated. This mask helps tone down the redness of the pimples and relieve the irritation. 
• It fits my huge face perfectly!
• It's definitely the best fit I've had from all the sheet masks I've tried. Most masks I've used weren't able to cover my forehead well...
• My skin easily absorbs the essence. The result? Supple and moisturized skin without stickiness!
• The sheet mask feels like it's made of high quality material compared to my other sheet masks. It doesn't tear easily and it doesn't slide off my face even when I walk or look down while playing Vainglory on my iPad. ^__~
• Did not cause me to breakout or have any allergic reaction
• Very mild, non-irritating scent

Negatives:

• Expensive
• Ingredients list on the packaging has no English translation
• Leaders Insolution only has 2 physical stores here in the Philippines. The masks are available in BeautyMNL and Zalora though. Because I'm located far from their stores it's cheaper for me to buy online.

Impression/Rating: 

Discussion: Leaders Insolution has different sheet masks for varying skin issues or needs. This AC-Dressing sheet mask is made for combination/oily, troubled skin. It's meant to relieve skin troubles, lighten dark spots, add moisture, and soothe the skin. It does all that it claims to do and I love it for that. I'd use this mask more than twice a week—even daily!—if it were more affordable. For now I just save it for days when I'm breaking out because that's the time my poor skin needs all the help and love it could get.

There were some instances that when I used this mask I felt a little bit of stinging/tingling sensation during the first few minutes of having it on. It was tolerable and the tingling sensation went away shortly. It never resulted to any redness, rash or breakout so I'm good with it. It might just scare some people. Of course, I'm talking about my own experience. If you get any burning or stinging sensation while using any skincare product that does not go away or improve, it would be best to rinse it off and stop using it until you figure out if it's truly irritating your skin or not. :)

I use sheet masks after toner and acne medication; sometimes I use them after essence if my skin is feeling dry. The directions say to leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes but I usually have it on for about 30 to 40 minutes. ^_~ After removing the sheet mask, I pat the remaining essence onto my skin then apply my current favorite cream (Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream—review to come soon!) to seal all the goodness in.

If only my skin looked like this all the time! *sigh*

Prognosis: This particular sheet mask from Leaders Insolution is my favorite sheet mask of all time. It's my go-to mask when my skin is troubled or aching for some TLC. I have repurchased it even without the promo but I do hope they offer the Buy 1 Get 1 promo again and more often. If and when they do, I'll be the first one to hoard! :))) I've also used their Aloe and Tea Tree masks and while those are great too, this AC-Dressing is the one that took my heart away!
